Tiavola / Shopify in Egypt
A move to Shopify needs more than a new storefront. Your products, customer records, order history and important URLs all need a plan.
We review the source platform, data access, catalogue, integrations and operational requirements before defining the migration. Field compatibility, data quality and the tools available affect the final scope.
Products, variants, images and collections.
Customer and order records within the agreed scope.
Content, navigation and store configuration.
Old-to-new URL mapping and redirects.
Payment, shipping and integration checks.
A cutover plan, final checks and a recovery approach.
Tiavola migrated Deeda from Magento to Shopify, including products, customers and order data, and set up the new Shopify store. This gave the team a connected starting point for operating on the new platform.
Agree the data, functionality and responsibilities.
Prepare the Shopify store and test the migration process.
Review sample records, links and important customer journeys.
Coordinate the final transfer and launch checks.
We review the source platform, data and features before agreeing the migration. For Deeda’s Magento to Shopify migration, we moved products, customers and orders and set up the Shopify store. For WooCommerce or another platform, we first assess its export options, integrations and any functionality that needs replacing.
These can be included in a migration, subject to the source data and the chosen import method. We map fields, check product variants and customer/order relationships, and review sample imports before the full transfer. Not every field or platform-specific feature has a direct Shopify equivalent, so exceptions are identified during scoping.
Existing passwords are not transferred through Shopify’s customer CSV import because they are encrypted outside Shopify. Moving customer records and choosing how customers sign in are separate tasks. We agree the account setup and any customer instructions needed before launch.
We plan URL mapping and redirects, review important page titles and descriptions, and check links and indexable pages around launch. This helps address migration risks, but no migration can guarantee unchanged search rankings. Share your current store so we can review its SEO migration requirements.
Much of the preparation can happen while the old store operates. We then agree how to handle new orders, customer records and stock changes before the final switch. The launch plan may need a final data update or a short change freeze, depending on the systems and migration method.
The quote depends on the source platform, data volume and quality, store design, integrations, languages and URL redirects. We first establish what must move and what needs rebuilding or replacing. Contact us for an exact Shopify migration quote.
Timing depends on data preparation, custom functionality, integrations, testing and your preferred launch window. We review the source store and sample data before committing to a schedule. The plan includes time to review imported records and agree the final transfer.
